Fitted lining made on the job with stops and architrave - looked like it had been there from the start by the end. I did however notice that Wimpey Homes had only put 50mm of insulation above this customers utility room and being the nice soul I am I offered to fit the insulation while I was up there fitting some flooring at no extra charge if they got me the insulation.![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh6jYB3M0f7o1Gw9ZzoGVWsSuxQAkQbvH_Mkmr6cIT7rLG29pNUOUHb5XmtpW2gMUqbCt8naXMKC2OYi0r6-18aVfIU8dTcU2HifJZG-4_eX0nIkGec8juFeD-M3A67qB2A-HfmNIylzPI/s400/IMAG0188.jpg)

A nice little job working for nice people - Good way to start the week!
You do good work.
ReplyDeleteHey Kevin I hope my door's look half as good as that tidy job :)
ReplyDeleteCheers chaps!
ReplyDeleteBrian just make sure you plane it to fit first with an even gap all round then wedge it up when marking your hinges. I bet yours will look just as good - let me know how you get on.
Thanks for passing by my earthwoman blog. I was very happy to stumble upon your woodworking blog which has opened me up to a new world of blogs. I'm currently toying with the idea of trying to pick up some woodworking skills with a view to a new career change so it was serendipitous.
ReplyDeleteHi Warriorwoman,
ReplyDeletethanks for the comment - be careful taking the step into woodworking, believe me when I say it can be quite addictive! Any questions on anything carpentry dont hesitate to ask.
